Before the likes of iZotope's RX and Hit 'N Mix's RipX DeepAudio, Isolate is used to isolate vocals from instruments using spectral tools. Quite advanced for the time like many Prosoniq applications that came before it.
Another option, if you're adventurous, is Center Cutwhich is a public domain utility that claims to remove (or isolate) vocals in the centerwhile maintainting the left and right stereo channels.
